NAS RECOGNIZED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

On Thursday, August 24, 2006, North American Stainless was recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce for its contributions to the global economy.

On Thursday, August 24, 2006, North American Stainless was recognized by the U.S. Department of Commerce for its contributions to the global economy. David Spooner, Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington DC presented the Export Achievement Certificate to Antonio Pacheco, VP Commercial. Spooner stated, “It’s more of a lifetime achievement award because of its long record of exporting goods.” North American Stainless has been exporting products since 1993. Spooner added, “NAS epitomizes free trade.”

This recognition was made possible through the nomination by U.S. Representative Geoff Davis. North American Stainless was honored to receive this distinction.
