Acerinox Group has inaugurated last May 15th a new Service Centre in the city of Guelph (Toronto, Canada) This is the 18th Service Centre of Acerinox Group worldwide and the fourth in North America.
Acerinox has a long tradition in the Canadian market, with shipments since late 70’s from the Campo de Gibraltar and the Roldan factories.
The Major of Guelph and all the staff members of the city, the Consul of Spain in Toronto, Mr. Ignacio Sánchez de Lerín and the Trade Commissioner in Toronto, Mr Isidoro Fernández Mayor attended the Opening Ceremony. The Chairman of the Acerinox Group, Mr Victoriano Muñoz Cava pointed out that with this Service Centre, that meant an investment of 13 million dollars, the group strengthened its commitment of presence in the important Canadian market, which is supplied from the Group´s factories of Campo de Gibraltar (Spain), Kentucky (USA) and Middleburgh (South Africa). Mr Muñoz affirms that this 12,000 square metres Service Centre built in a site of 48,000 square metres, would not be the last one in Canada.
